IDT UHF RFID Ear Tag 02

RFID Ear Tag 2

ID Tech’s UHF RFID Ear Tag 02 is a special-purpose tag that is designed for application on animal ears, especially for livestock management. Traditional methods of livestock management are becoming more and more tedious, outdated, and inefficient. These tags are now in great demand owing to their better-read range and larger coverage. With these animal identification UHF Ear Tag 02, we have extended the traditional low-frequency animal identification schemes with a long-range UHF option. Such a tag enables livestock like cattle to be automatically counted and identified when walking through a reader gate or entering a feeding station. It allows for identifying and counting animals in groups from a distance, reducing stress on the animals. Read/write capabilities enable the storage of additional information such as vaccinations or movement.

Product Information

UHF RFID tags’ construction was optimized by ID Tech’s team of experts to optimally match the use case and allows a reading distance of up to 6 meters (Fixed Reader) and 4 meters (Handheld Reader). The broadband design supports worldwide operation and reliable reading in any typical circumstance. Besides, UHF RFID tags have a much higher reading range when compared to other tags. The high data transfer rate makes UHF tags ideal for applications that need to read multiple items at once. It works on the UHF in 902-928 MHz and 865-868 MHz bands and is fully compliant with ISO 18000 6C protocols. These animal identification tags are known for their robust performance and high reading range, even in the harshest environmental conditions. These tags can be used for identifying sick animals, vaccination schedules, location, food management, breeding, blood groups, health history, date of birth, etc.
