ID Tech’s ACR1252U is a versatile NFC device that supports all three modes of NFC communication: card reader/writer, card emulation, and peer-to-peer communication. It is compatible with ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, as well as MIFARE®, FeliCa, and ISO 18092-compliant NFC tags. It can also interact with other NFC devices at a maximum access speed of 424 Kbps and a proximity operating distance of up to 50mm, depending on the type of tag being used.

This USB NFC device is compliant with both CCID and PC/SC standards, enabling it to operate with various devices and applications in a plug-and-play manner. Its flexibility makes it ideal for unconventional marketing and advertising applications, such as smart posters. The ACR1252U is available with an optional stand that can hold the smart card reader at the optimal angle, facilitating easy tapping of contactless cards or NFC-enabled devices onto the ACR1252U.
